Renovation

Our school hall has recently been renovated at a cost of €140,000. It includes a new roof, showers, floors, dressing rooms and has been painted. The hall was officially opened by Darragh Maloney of RTE and blessed by Father Power. Many groups are now using the hall such as Special Olympics Ireland, Tolka Rovers, Ballygall Badminton club, Grange Gymnastics club and many more clubs and community groups.

ICT Development

We are currently undergoing massive change in ICT and the use of ICT in teaching & learning. Over half of the classrroms have a computer and digital projectors and we aim to expand this further with help from the local community.

Sponsored Walk

We recently raised over €6,000 in our fancy dress sponsored walk which went a long way in meeting the costs of our ICT development in the school. We would like to thank all our students, parents, families and the wider clocal community for their help and support in this important event.

Awards

We recently had an award ceremony for the students at the school in various categories which aim to highlight achievement, effort and focus in both academic and non academic disciplines. It was a great success with many students nominated and winning awards which pay credit to their achievements. Well done to all concerned.

Open Night/Enrolment 2010

Our Annual Open Night was held on Thursday 8th October and it was a great success with the number of applications exceeding the number of places on offer. We currently have a waiting list to gain entry into first year in september 2010 and we are now accepting applications for 2011.

Extra curricular Activities

We have a thriving participation of students in extra curricular activities. We currently have teams competing in Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer, Rugby, Golf, Table Tennis, Karate and debating. We also have students involved in many local community based activities such as computer training and links with the elderly in Ballygall.
